Line 9 Telecommunication System is equipped with various advanced telecommunication facilities, including wired/wireless and video communication devices, to interface with signal/power/operation systems to perform various communication features and transmit information for the safe operation of trains and convenience of passengers.
Major Transmission Facility is designed to swiftly and accurately transmit various operation and management data (voice, text, remote control, etc) to relevant departments or facilities. Consists of phones and express digital optical network of voice and text data.
Needed for the correspondence or information sharing between departments to maintain facilities and perform operations/management.
Centralized dispatching Telephone is installed in OCC and connected to receivers that are placed in each station and direct control centers for (operation, power, signal, and communication) operators to deliver directives on train operations facilitycontrols, etc, quickly and accurately.
Uses digital frequencies for Main Office, Operation Control Center, drivers, customer safety officer in station, maintenance workers, and other related workers to transmit voice and text data via wireless stations and relays.
Video Transmission System is connected to CCTV cameras that are installed in each platform, lounge, and passageways to check operation, passengers, and automated systems. Operation and passenger conditions can be immediately checked at Safety Control Room of each station and at Operation Control Center
Wireless Video Transmission System allows operators to monitor platform conditions and situations through the monitor in the operating room as they enter/exit the platform. This system can be disclosed wave or wireless type, but Line 9 has adopted the wireless type.
Automatically broadcasts information about incoming train, routes, arrivals, and operations to passengers in platforms and lounges.
Also allows manual broadcasts when needed and connects to the wireless system on each train for operators to broadcast messages in urgent situations. In case of accidents or emergencies, Centralized dispatching Telephone can be used to broadcast messages directly from OCC.
displays destinations, approaches, public information, government PR videos, commercial advertisements, color graphic animations and other videos on Train Destination Indicators (TDI) that are installed in every platform to provide visual information in real-time.
For efficient operation and services, all trains stations, depot and offices must indicate accurate time. Electronic Clock System that sets and displays accurate time information consists of mother clock, parent clocks, and child clocks. Mother clock compares and adjusts the parent clocks and child clocks in each station to always display accurate time for safe and convenient services.
Integrates Police Command Network for swift response to crimes in subway cars and stations, Wireless Fire Safety Communication Auxiliary System for fast fire control, Underground Broadcasting Repeater for travelers to listen to radio while traveling underground, etc for the convenience and benefit of passengers and workers.
Access Control System is designed to protect and manage Line 9’s personnel, properties, and systems. Card readers are installed at places where access needs to be controlled to block unauthorized access. This not only prevents accidents, but enables swift control measures in case of accidents.
