Criteria for Discarding Food Items Found - Classification, Storage period, Details

Open food	Same-day disposal	Storage and self-disposal within the business day
Unopened food	Within 7 days	Transfer to police station
Other	Unopened food with unclear expiration date or perishable food → Discarded on the same day (lunch boxes, fresh/refrigerated/frozen food, fruits, vegetables, gimbap, kimchi, baked goods, etc.)

Unopened food is limited to items that can be transferred or stored, such as canned goods.

However, regardless of the type of item, expensive items according to social norms are transferred immediately to the police station.
